Hi, I'm new 
I've been having trouble with my weight since early teens and now I'm 21. I want to lose about 25 kg and I would GREATLY appreciate some support :)
I'm starting Optifast tomorrow. Has anyone tried this? It's a nutritionally balanced shake/bar/soup that you have three times a day and two cups of salad. I know it's strict and I'm not sure how it will go but if I get some support I think I will be successful. Gook luck with your weight loss everyone :D

I'm doing slimming world.. I can eat as much as I want, but you're taught to eat the right foods together. Things like chocolate/crisps etc are still allowed but in lower quantities (you have a "syn allowance").

Yes I try to do at least half an hour of exercise a day but it doesn't always happen. I'm just getting back into it so I'm not over doing it just yet. I'm studying dentistry full time so my back is a bit sore after a day of practical work but I'm doing pilates to try and strengthen it.

The reason I'm doing optifast is I can't trust myself around food in the house at late night when I'm studying.I'm just wondering what will happen when I go off the program...I'm going to buy some bars tomorrow because a liquid diet for me is just too hard, also I don't want people around me to know I'm trying to lose weight because I can't stand the lectures so it will make lunch times easier for me.

Good luck. Is optifast like slim fast?

Are you doing any exercise as well?
